Elevation: From parking lot to top of hill, 50 ft
Start at: Picchetti Winery, 13100 Monte Bello Road, Cupertino, CA 95014-5407
Parking: Parking is ample and free.
Head out of the parking lot toward the winery, but turn right just before the entrance. Follow the trail round the edge of the winery with the fence to the left. Over the small bridge and merge with the main trail. Follow the trail up the hill. Stay on the same trail following it down to the pond on the left (the pond will be dry during summer and fall). Circle counter-clockwise around the pond. At the large eucalyptus tree follow the Vista Trail up the hill through a copse of trees to the top of the hill with a limited view toward San Jose. Follow the trail down and turn left at the first intersection following the Orchard Loop Trail back to Zinfandel Trail you started out on. Turn right and follow the trail back through the winery to the parking lot.
